Computer Site
Malayer University, with its undergraduate, graduate and specialized sites, has been very diligent in providing services to students and professors. The university has 3 undergraduate sites located in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture with 50 systems, 2 undergraduate sites with more than 140 computers, and 2 postgraduate sites with 30 computers. In addition, specialized sites 1 and 2, with 20 systems with specialized software for different disciplines, are used by professors and students. Internet access is also provided for all students on computer sites.
Wireless Network
Network users (graduate students and top undergraduate students) can use the Internet by connecting to a wireless network (WIFI) via mobile phone, personal computer or any smart device inside the university and dormitories.
Dormitory System
Students can use this system to register for dormitories, easily pay dormitory rent, view various announcements and rules related to dormitories.
Electronic Education Center
The education management system is a software platform that connects the instructor and the learner and manages the activity in the training courses. In other words, it automatically manages the teaching and learning process. A powerful education management system facilitates the executive management of learning programs within a university and allows students to collaborate with their peers. Some features of the system are:
Assigning a separate section to each lesson with the possibility of editing by the teacher in a short time.
Possibility of holding online classes
Sharing course content, slides, e-books, etc. (for students to use)
Using the forum for each course
Providing an environment for informing students about the courses
Creating exercises with the ability to send answers in text or file
Ability to create instructor help for each lesson
Creating groups for each course
Online exercise marking
Possibility of holding online exams
Possibility of holding a chat environment at the same time under the supervision of the teacher
Conducting polls and voting
Messaging system

Accordingly, not only the speed of progress of plans and projects will increase, but also the organizational bureaucracies to facilitate the implementation of a research project, dissertation, article other items needed in the research vice-presidency are eliminated.
High Performance Computing
High Performance Computing is a branch of software science that, through combining the computing power of a large number of medium and small computers, makes it possible to perform heavy computational and scientific work with high speed and low cost.

The main applications of fast computing are:

Data analysis and maintenance
Simulation
Modeling
Software development
Viewing massive interdependent data
Fast mathematical calculations

Computational science along with computing resources and HPC technology are the three main pillars for assimilating theories and theories with the results of practical experiments. HPC is able to work with huge volumes of data and analyze results very quickly. This process can take several months with regular computers, while with HPC computers it can take minutes or hours. It should be noted that in many cases, ordinary computers are basically incapable of performing such calculations. The Information and Technology Unit has been able to provide faculty members with a platform for fast computing.

Hardware and Software Facilities
The duties of the Hardware and Software Unit are defined in three main processes: hardware services, software services and consulting services. The hardware maintenance service process is intended to support computers and their accessories, so that they can always be used. It includes troubleshooting and system installation, providing new hardware, system troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Installing the software required by the user and fixing software problems such as deleting or corrupting information files due to various causes such as viruses, power outages and hardware problems for the units is one of the sub-processes of the software services of the Information Technology Center.

The consulting services of this unit also include providing all management levels of the university with help in the field of hardware and software issues. The most significant of these services include consulting for the purchase of new hardware and their allocation according to the needs of university units.
