Monday, July 20, 2020 Laboratories and Facilities of the Chemistry Department
 
 
Chemistry department facilities include organic chemistry laboratory and analytical chemistry laboratory (research) and two chemistry laboratories located in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Organic Chemistry Laboratory: Since half of the chemistry courses must be provided in a laboratory, this laboratory is related to the operation of specialized courses for Applied Chemistry undergraduate students. Therefore, this laboratory provides a complete set of materials, glassware and laboratory equipment with a capacity of 12 people for these laboratory courses of undergraduate students: General Basics 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Identifying Organic Compounds, Mineral Chemistry 1 and 2.

Analytical and Research Chemistry Laboratory: This laboratory provides services for both undergraduate and graduate students. Operations of specialized courses of Analytical Chemistry 1 and 2 and Device Analysis are held in this laboratory. The equipment in this laboratory includes the following:

pH meter

Potentiometer
Electrospinning device

The equipment available in the central laboratory, which is related to the field of educational and research activities of the group, includes the following items:
XRD , HPLC , Atomic absorbtion , freeze dryer. GC
Service laboratories: In addition to holding industrial chemistry laboratories and physical chemistry 1 and 2 related to chemistry, two laboratories located in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture offer General Chemistry Laboratory and Organic Chemistry courses to various departments of the University.
