Founded in 1991, the department of Educational Sciences is the oldest department at the university. The Department aims at educating and training graduates who meet parts of the educational requirements. At the beginning, the department was limited to the undergraduate program in Educational Technology. Since 2008, however, Master's degree program in History and Philosophy of Education- Islamic Education has been offered. The Department of Educational Sciences is currently working with one professor, one associate professor, and eight assistant professors.
