• Being the secretary (clerk) of the University’s Educational Council and preparation of the council's resolutions
• Preparation, formulation, and maintenance of approved educational programs for students in all courses of different educational levels and regulations related to the form of catalogs introducing the courses of all different educational levels
• Preparing and communicating the university calendar and supervising the preparation of weekly and exam schedules for the courses of different academic levels of the university
• Supervising the proper implementation of bylaws, circulars and educational approvals in the relevant units and supervising the administration of educational services in the affiliated units
• Attending the problems of students in different academic levels and estimating the shortcomings of regulations and approvals and proposing solutions to the Deputy for Education and Graduate Studies
• Cooperation with university officials and the ministry in holding university entrance exams, etc.
• Supervising the implementation of regulations regarding the transfer and reception of students
• Using statistics and information to monitor and evaluate new students and graduates of different educational levels
• Polling the schools for changes in curricula
• Carrying out registration and exams for students in all different educational levels based on the adopted policies
• Receive the list of those accepted from the Country’s Education Evaluation Organization (Sanjesh Organization)
• Applying the issued instructions regarding the registration of the admitted students in each semester
• Collaborating with schools in preparing weekly schedules and sending it to the computer unit and preparing course codes
• Carrying out affairs related to the conscripts' duty system
• Answering students' questions regarding educational affairs
• Carrying out matters related to the issuance of certificates, letters of introduction, and other correspondence
• Preparing statistics and information about students and arranging scholarship students' contracts
• Providing the necessary reports on the status of scholarship students to the scholarship institution
• Communicating exam plans in accordance with the decisions made to the educational departments and supervising the final exams
• Receiving the list of grades and attendance and sending them to the computer unit and preparing students' transcripts
• Carrying out matters related to the adaptation of units and guiding students in the field of course selection
• Controlling the educational status of all graduates in order to observe the division of the designated courses, controlling the grades obtained and applying the relevant regulations
• Issuing the temporary certificates of graduates
• Preparing graduate statistics at the end of each semester and presenting it to the relevant authorities
• Sending graduation certificates to universities and government centers
• Preservation and maintenance of graduates' educational records
• Planning to develop the talents of students outside the formal realm of the university
• Designing and compiling virtual lessons
• Compiling virtual courses regulations
• Introducing officials and faculty members to virtual education
• Meeting the educational needs of industrial and commercial centers
• Carrying out the studies and researches desired by the Exceptional Talents Steering Council and providing expert and advisory opinions to the council
• Preparing and compiling plans, programs and regulations to achieve the goals and tasks of the Exceptional Talents Steering Council
• Preparing a work plan, setting the agenda and minutes of the Exceptional Talents Steering Council
• Communicating the approvals of the Exceptional Talents Steering Council and following up on related matters
• Establishing a system of monitoring and controlling the implementation of the resolutions of the Exceptional Talents Steering Council and evaluating the results of their implementation and submitting relevant reports
• Investigating and studying methods for identifying Exceptional Talents
• Reviewing and developing educational and research programs to develop Exceptional Talents and guiding them towards the country's priorities in the field of science and technology
• Reviewing and providing the necessary solutions for the proper employment of the Exceptional Talents
• Investigating the factors for the departure of exceptional talents from the country and presenting strategies for attracting Iranian talents abroad
• Providing counseling and information services to the exceptionally talented students
• Publication of scientific works in the field of exceptional talents
• Creating databases in the field of exceptional talents
• Material and spiritual support for the exceptionally talented students and the top ones
• Distributing credits related to talented students to universities and research institutes of scientific associations
• Implementing exceptional talents development programs
• Submit an annual performance report to the Exceptional Talents Steering Council
• Investigating the problems of talented students and taking the necessary measures to solve their problems in coordination with the relevant university officials
• Performing other tasks assigned by the superior authority
