The facilities of the green space group include a research laboratory for horticultural sciences, a greenhouse, a research garden for temperate fruits, educational and research vineyards No. 1 and 2, a nursery, a collection of medicinal plants and a specialized workshop on landscape design.
- Horticultural and landscape research laboratory
This laboratory is related to the operations of specialized courses for master's degree students in horticultural sciences and engineering and service courses in other fields. This laboratory has an acceptable volume of specialized facilities and devices such as GC, two special refrigerators with temperature gradient, a special device for measuring optical spectrums affecting photosynthesis, Soxhlet extractor, celevenger, reflecto- meter, germinator and common laboratory devices, including oven, water bath, Incubator, conductivity meter, PH Meter, Shaker, etc. which are provided for servicing and conducting educational and research work in the Faculty of Agriculture. Dr. Mousa Rasooli is the current supervisor of this lab.
- Specialized landscape design workshop
the workshop is equipped with drawing table, light table, revolving billboard, video projector and video projector curtain, and specialized design courses are held in this workshop for undergraduate green space students.
Greenhouse, cold frame gardening and canopy
This greenhouse is 3000 square meters includes 5 units, 2 educational units (for green space students and basic gardening courses) and 2 other research units (related to soil sciences, plant production and genetics, animal sciences and green space and other applicants From other colleges) with a cold frame gardening. There are all kinds of houseplants, cacti and ornamental shrubs of tropical climates. Also, a cold glass chassis and canopy with an approximate area of 50 square meters are located in the greenhouse for research and development. Dr. R. Karimi is one of the main supervisors of this section.
