According to a report released by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), highly cited Iranian researchers were identified among the world's top 1% across 22 major subject areas and 174 subfields.
ISC, as a reputable international institution, is responsible for meeting part of the scientific and research needs related to monitoring science and technology in Iran, the region, and Islamic countries. In this capacity, the institute identifies and announces top highly-cited researchers each year.
According to ISC's 2024 report, Dr. Farshid Mirzaei, Professor in the Department of Mathematics, and Dr. Mahyar Yousefi, Associate Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at Malayer University, were included among the world's top 1% most-cited scientists.
