We are pleased and proud to announce that the Master's program in "Exploration Information Systems" has been established and approved for the first time in the country, thanks to the efforts of the Vice-Chancellery for Education and Graduate Studies, the Department of Educational Planning, and the Department of Mining Engineering — particularly Dr. Mahyar Yousefi — following the completion of the review process, curriculum development, and securing the necessary approvals.
After continuous follow-up and correspondence between the Vice-Chancellery for Education and the Director General of the Office of Educational Planning, the program's curriculum was submitted to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's Office of Educational Planning on June 23, 2025 (2 Tir 1404). Following expert review by the Supreme Council for Program Planning, it was officially approved on July 13, 2025 (22 Tir 1404) and formally communicated on Saturday, November 22, 2025 (1 Azar 1404).
The establishment of this program marks an important step in the country's scientific development and addresses contemporary societal needs in the field of mineral exploration using advanced, intelligent methods.
It is hoped that with the admission of the first cohort of master's students, the program will help train specialized, capable, and impactful professionals in this field.

It should be noted that this is the first time Malayer University has independently defined a new academic program and secured its approval by the Ministry of Science's Supreme Council for Program Planning.
